All art participants must register.
DSAL Community Workshops at the Library

DSAL is partnering with DS Community Library to provide art workshops for adults and kids. Check out the dates and topics!
Mixed Media Art Journaling

Drive out to the countryside west of Dripping Springs to a ranch of rustic charm and longhorns, and the home of Wild Persimmon Art Studio. Come early and roam around a bit, take your ease on the porch swing, or spend some time browsing through Melissa’s art journals.
Melissa Grace Young will lead a 4 hour workshop introducing mixed media art journaling with a focus on creative collage techniques.
Fiber Art Collaborative

Join us to learn about weaving and some related fiber arts with DSAL member Melanie Smith as our guide. Weaving is an easy, relaxing, and portable way to express your creative self! In this workshop you will learn to weave a tiny tapestry in 2 hours. Hang it on your wall or use it as a mug rug. All materials will be supplied and you can take your loom home with you to make more!
