🌈 Let your art shine in the heart of Dripping Springs! 🌟

About the Exhibition

New location added! We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to our DSAL members to be part of a distinctive art exhibit which will run from April 6 – August 3, 2026:

Oakwood Public Market

2500 Beverly Dr, Dripping Springs, TX 78620

The Dripping Springs Art League is excited to announce a new ongoing gallery opportunity in the Jackalope Room at Oakwood Public Market—a stunning, hip new venue with a classic Hill Country feel, offering indoor/outdoor seating and great views. This rotating exhibit space will feature new artwork on a regular basis, offering DSAL members a wonderful chance to showcase their creativity to a broad and ever-changing audience.

Theme: Hill Country Sunsets

Oakwood is perched high on a hill and offers expansive views of the surrounding landscape. The owner has specifically requested artwork that captures the breathtaking sunsets as seen from Oakwood’s own patio. Works featuring general Hill Country landscapes and sunsets will also be considered, but special preference will be given to Oakwood-specific views.

Homework (the fun kind):
Come visit Oakwood and take in a sunset for yourself. Listen to some music, grab some food and a drink (or two), and soak up the view.

The Plein Air Club will be hosting an upcoming onsite event tentatively on March 8th. Members can paint, photograph and experience the view firsthand. This is open to everyone. Contact Olivia (olivia.rose.ochoa@gmail.com) for more details.

Artist Reception:
Join us to celebrate the artists and their work on Thursday, April 9th, 5-7pm. All participating artists are encouraged to attend and are welcome to bring friends and family. More details to come.

Eligibility:
Open to all current members of the DSAL. Additionally, participants must agree to contribute 2 consecutive hours of their time per month during the exhibit period. In order to open the gallery space to traffic and possible sales, we will need help. Volunteering to work at the gallery can be fun! Bring friends or family, grab some drinks, work on your own artwork, relax and hang out. A volunteer coordinator will follow up at a later date. Submit your artwork for consideration here.
