About the Exhibition

We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to our DSAL members to be part of a distinctive art exhibit which will run from September 14, 2026 – March 8, 2027:

• The DSAL is teaming up with the Chamber again with the goal of accenting their office with amazing artwork that captures the spirit of our community. With numerous local business owners and visitors passing through each week, this is your chance to showcase your talent to a diverse audience.
• This is an open call with no particular theme. However, the Chamber is not looking for artwork with a country or rustic theme and has specifically requested that no cows, horses or longhorns be included. 
• (Tentative Date) There will be an Artist Opening Thursday, October 8, 4:30-6pm. All artists are welcome to attend along with family and friends.

• Artwork submissions should align with a “family-friendly” theme. Submitted works should refrain from featuring nudity, political or religious statements, violence, or sexualized content, as these elements will not be accepted.
• We welcome a diverse range of artistic expressions in various mediums, including but not limited to oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media, gouache, fiber art, collage, digital creations, drawings, wood, glass, and charcoal. All works should be wall mountable.
• All exhibited  pieces will be offered for sale with a 70% artist – 30% DSAL commission structure.
• Artists are accountable for the delivery, pickup, and any related expenses.
• Artwork must be prepared for wall hanging, complete with all required hardware securely attached. All artwork must be wall-mountable.
  • We strongly encourage D-rings with wire mounted ⅓ from the top. Sawtooth hangers can fail.
• Non-refundable submission fee: $15 for up to four entries.
• Please note that all images and details must also be submitted by August 31st.

When someone wishes to purchase your artwork:

Please be aware that the DSAL will facilitate the monetary transactions on behalf of the artists. If a visitor is interested in purchasing a displayed artwork, they will pay via a QR code listed on the artwork label. Once a sale is made, the buyer will show proof of sale to a representative at the Chamber. The DSAL will distribute payments to artists. Artists might be asked to replace any sold piece with another work of about the same size, subject to approval.

• September 4 – Notification of acceptance via email
• September 14 – Art Installation
• October 8, 4:30-6:30pm – DSAL art opening reception at the Chamber
• March 8  – Artwork Pickup
