Chamber Postcard Art Call

 Let your art shine in the heart of Dripping Springs! 

About the Call

We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to our DSAL members to be part of a unique art opportunity which will be ongoing

• The DSAL is partnering with Destination Dripping Springs (DDS) to provide photographic images to be used for postcards. This is your chance to showcase your talent to a diverse audience.

• The City is seeking submissions that capture iconic Dripping Springs imagery, such as popular landmarks, the Stars, Mercer Street, etc. 

Details

• Original photographs only (no AI-generated, stock images, or photos of paintings); high-resolution (300+ DPI) required..
• Destination Dripping Springs would like to see some montages (compilations of several images such as the Stars) for some submittals.
• Selected images may be used by Destination Dripping Springs on postcards with no expiration date. Postcards may be given away or sold at the DDS’ discretion.
• Artists will receive $100 per image or montage selected.
• Artists will retain copyright and are free to reprint or sell their image in other formats—however, postcard rights are exclusive to DDS
• The artist’s name and the location featured will be printed on the back of each postcard.
• There is no submission fee, and artists may submit up to three entries.
• Please note that all images and details must also be submitted by August 7.

Eligibility – Open to all current members of the DSAL.

Important Dates:

• July 7 – Artist Call Opens
• August 7 – Art Submission deadline
• August 15 – Notification of acceptance via email. Contract agreement based on the terms above will be provided for execution.
