About the Exhibition

We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to our DSAL members to be part of two distinctive art showcases which run from June 29 through September 27, 2024.

Locations

Ally Medical Emergency Room – Dripping Springs

• The DSAL believes in the healing power of art which is one of the reasons why we’ve partnered with Ally Medical Emergency Room.
• Our carefully chosen pieces of art aim to provide comfort and a welcome distraction for patients, making the surroundings a little brighter during stressful times.
• They are eager to feature artwork that truly embodies the vibrant spirit of summer, including beach scenes, colorful landscapes, and sun-kissed imagery
• Please note that due to the nature of this type of business, we will not be able to host an artist reception.
• This installation will not be open to the public, but just for the staff and patients

Sunflower Bank

• The DSAL is teaming up with Sunflower Bank with the goal of accenting their office with amazing artwork that captures the spirit of our community. With numerous local business owners and visitors passing through each week, this is your chance to showcase your talent to a diverse audience.
• Sunflower is looking for work that represents the Texas Hill Country.
• The bank will host their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce as well as an Artist Reception on DATE TBD. All artists are welcome to attend along with family and friends

Key Exhibition Details  (Please review the detailed exhibition information here.)

• We welcome a diverse range of artistic expressions in various mediums, including but not limited to oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media, gouache, fiber art, collage, digital creations, drawings, and charcoal.
• All showcased pieces will be offered for sale, and the entire proceeds (100%) will be directed to the respective artist.
• DSAL will facilitate all sales of Artwork, including payment directly to the Artist and Buyer’s Artwork pickup
• Non-refundable submission fee: $30 for up to three entries; $5 for each additional entry not to exceed 5 entries.

• May 31 – Art Submission deadline
• June 14 – Notification of acceptance via email
